Bengali works | তোমার দুটি পায়

ছিল যত কুহক, মায়ায় গড়া আশার কালি, ভবিষ্যতের ঝকমকে সব সম্ভাবনার ডালি, বর্তমানের অনিশ্চয় আর অতীত সকল ক্ষত, না- পোরা আর না- দেখা মোর স্বপ্ন ছিল যত,  কত যুগের না- ঝরা সব অশ্রু ভেজা তায়, উজাড় করে ঢেলে দিলাম তোমার দুটি পায়। স্বপ্নসুধায় মিশল কবে সুখ- লালসের বিষ, ধেয়ে পিছু সে মরীচিকার জ্বলেছি অহর্নিশ, বুকফাটা মোর রক্তে ভরা ব্যথার কুসুম- ভারে দান করেছি মিথ্যে মোহের কৃষ্ণগহ্বরে। ভুলে ভরা, নিঃশেষিত, নিঃস্ব এই আমায় সঁপেছিনু আজকে তোমার রাঙা দুটি পায়! কঠিন তোমার আলোর বাঁধন যতই আঘাত হানে, হরষ ভরে বক্ষ 'পরে লব আশিস জ্ঞানে। এ বিষ- নীলে লোহিত করো সুধা ভরা শরে যত পারো, তবুও কভু সরিও নাকো দূরে — রোদপোড়া এক দিনের শেষে শ্রান্ত হয়ে হায় ফিরলে পরে স্থান দিও ঐ রাঙা দুটি পায়! আসুক শত ঝঞ্ঝা- বাদল, বিনা মেঘের বাজ, তোমার আলোয় থাকব অটল অযুত তুফান মাঝ। আকাশ বেয়ে ঝরুক লাভা, বাতাস জমুক হিমে, কাঁপুক ভূতল, গগন চিরে উল্কা আসুক নেমে; দেখব শুধু, পরশে আমায় কোন্ সে বিপর্যয়! এই আমি যে লুটিয়ে আছি তোমার দুটি পায়! প্রলয় আসুক, বিশ্বজগৎ যাক হয়ে চুরমার, তোমার আলোর কোলেই ফিরে আসব অনিবার। খুঁজবে না আর কেউ কখ...

Black Pit of Darkness | The Dark Truth

Everyone today thinks of it as a dream place. A place almost everybody knows as a place where all wishes come true. Still, I can't help but smile at them, smile at their blessed ignorance. Because I know the hellish truth about it. I know what a terrible, dangerous, dark place it is. And I again feel what a mercy it is not to know about some things— because not everything on this Earth is for everyone, and it is better to stay ignorant of some things. When I first completed the necessary processes, I couldn't help feeling something on my back, because I couldn't forget the vile things people spoke about the place.
